Peter Lund
Peter Lund (* 30. Dezember 1965 in Flensburg) ist ein deutscher, freischaffender Regisseur und Autor.

Biografie
Lund absolvierte sein Abitur in Flensburg. Er studierte Architektur in Berlin und arbeitete seit 1985 als freischaffender Regisseur und Autor, u.a. in Braunschweig, Hannover, Darmstadt, Bremen, Hamburg, Basel, Innsbruck und Wien. 1985 gründete er die Gruppe Comp&Co. Von 1996 bis 2004 war er Leitungsmitglied der Neuköllner Oper. Seit 2002 ist er Professor am Studiengang Musical/Show an der Universität der Künste Berlin.
Neben seiner Arbeit als Musiktheaterregisseur zeichnete sich Lund als Autor durch den Versuch aus, dem durch Großproduktionen oft als gigantoman und anspruchslos verschrieenen Genre Musical neue Aspekte abzugewinnen. Vor allem in der Zusammenarbeit mit den Komponisten Thomas Zaufke und Wolfgang Böhmer stellt Lund immer wieder zeitgenössische und alltägliche Wirklichkeit auf die Bühne, mal eher realistisch mit Das Wunder von Neukölln, Babytalk, Leben ohne Chris oder Mein Avatar und ich, mal mehr kabarettistisch mit Die Krötzkes kommen, Letterland und Held Müller. Bei seinen Kinderstücken setzt er oft auf satirische Bearbeitungen von Märchen oder Kinderbüchern wie bei Cinderella passt was nicht, Der gestiefelte Straßenkater oder Maja und Co. Zu Lunds erfolgreichsten Werken zählt sein immer wieder aufgeführtes Kinderstück Hexe Hillary geht in die Oper.
