Some of them have served time in jail, been prosecuted for ‘hooliganism’ in their home country and are banned from living in other states. But thanks to extraordinary media coverage, the movement is gaining imitators and supporters in France, Germany, Brazil and elsewhere. Inna, Sasha, Oksana and Anna have an extraordinary story and here they tell it in their own words, and at the same time express their hopes and ambitions for women throughout the world. Galia Ackerman
Galia Ackerman est une écrivaine, historienne, journaliste et traductrice franco-russe spécialiste du monde russe et ex-soviétique.
D'origine russe, Galia Ackerman est docteur en histoire (Paris-Sorbonne). Vit définitivement en France depuis 1984 (naturalisée Française). Journaliste à Radio France Internationale (1988-2010) et à la revue Politique Internationale (depuis 1995). Chercheur associé à l’Université de Caen.
Auteur de « Tchernobyl : retour sur un désastre » (Paris, Folio Gallimard, 2007), coauteur de « Les Silences de Tchernobyl » (Paris, Autrement, 2006) et de « Serguei Eisenstein. Dessins secrets » (Paris, Le Seuil, 1999). Auteur également de nombreux articles, essais et interviews d’hommes politiques et intellectuels dans la presse française, internationale et russe (Le Monde, Libération, La Vie, Politique Internationale, La règle du jeu, Courrier de l’Unesco, Histoire et Liberté, Le meilleur des mondes, 2050, Tumultes, New Times, Novaya Gazeta, Znamia, Continent, etc.). Co-auteur dans plusieurs recueils collectifs, p.ex.« Dictionnaire du communisme » (Paris, Larousse, 2007) ou « Droits humains en Russie » (Paris, Autrement, 2010). S’intéresse tout particulièrement à l’idéologie de la nouvelle Russie post-soviétique.
Traductrice d’une soixantaine d’ouvrages de fiction et d’essais (du russe en français) dont ceux de Mikhaïl Gorbatchev, Anna Politkovskaïa, Viktor Pelevin, Svetlana Alexievitch, Dimitri Bykov, Alexandre Zinoviev, Serguei Paradjanov, etc.
Commissaire de l’exposition « Il était une fois Tchernobyl » au Centre de Culture Contemporaine de Barcelone (CCCB), du 16 mai au 8 octobre 2006. Codirectrice de la collection "Moutons noirs",(éditions François Bourin), depuis 2011. Première parution "Aux origines du Goulag" [1]
