Jacques Pitrat
Jacques Pitrat est l'un des pionners français de l'intelligence artificielle symbolique. Il a longuement travaillé sur les systèmes à bases de connaissances, les démonstrateurs de théorèmes, et les méta-connaissances [1].
Polytechnicien, ingénieur de l'armement, Jacques Pitrat a travaillé au Laboratoire Central de l'Armement de 1959 à 1967. Il a soutenu en 1966 une thèse de Doctorat d'État sur un démonstrateur de théorèmes et de méta-théorèmes.
Il travaille au CNRS depuis 1967 où il est actuellement Directeur de Recherches émerite.
