Dean Silvers, J.D., M.S., PHD., is an American award-winning film producer,[1] film director,[2] writer,[2] and an entertainment lawyer.,[3] He has produced numerous noteworthy films, including Flirting with Disaster, Manny & Lo, and Spanking the Monkey,[4] which won many awards, including the Audience Award,[5] at the 1994 Sundance Film Festival and two Independent Spirit Awards.[6]

Dean Silvers was born in Brooklyn, New York and currently resides in Manhattan, New York with his wife, Marlen Hecht, and their two sons, Forrest Silvers and Tyler Silvers.[3]
