Whispers of the Dead

Tom Gabriel has now got his PI&39;s licence and has been asked to find a woman&39;s missing husband, but nothing is what it seems. The more he finds, the less he understands. Rae has been promoted to Investigative Journalist, and with Tom&39;s help is trying to identify a John Doe found on Porpoise Point, but she&39;s in terrible danger because there are powerful people who don&39;t want her to find out. There are still seventeen missing children from Tom and Rae&39;s last case. Little Sally Stackhouse helps him by giving him a name that&39;s connected to the missing children, but he must go away to discover that the danger is much closer to home.

Tim Ellis is an Australian performer, author and lecturer in the world of magic and illusion.


Ellis began performing magic at the age of 10 after his grandfather gave him a magic set as a gift [ [http://www.australianmagician.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=374:magicintheirwords&catid=49:ewpress&Itemid=121] Magic Magazine article, published September 2007] . At the age of 14 he was the youngest magician ever admitted to The Magic Circle of Victoria and two years later won four out of their five annual awards. He also wrote regular columns for Genii Magazine and contributed to other publications, including Magic Magazine, Aladin & Innovator, and Revue de la Prestidigitation.

He also won 'Special Prize of the Jury' at the 1991 FISM World Championship in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Ellis met Sue-Anne Webster at a magic convention in Sydney in 1997, and within a year they were married. Ellis performed as a guest artist at the FISM World Championship of Magic, performing in the Close Up Gala with artists including David Williamson, Eugene Burger and Paul Gertner. In 2001 Ellis and Webster were voted 'Most Valuable Performers' by their peers at the close up magic convention 'Fechter's Finger Flicking Frolic' in Batavia, New York.
