Lori L. Foster (b. November 14) is a best-selling American writer of over fifty romance novels as Lori Foster. She will branch out with her first Urban Fantasy release using her first and middle initials, L.L. Foster. She lives in Ohio with her husband and her three sons.

Biography

Lori L. Foster was born on November 14. She married her high school sweetheart, and did not attend college. They settled in Ohio, and have had three sons, the first been born in 1981.

She held various jobs as a saleslady, a grocery store clerk, and a Proctor and Gamble material handler before having children and staying at home to raise them. She became enamored with the romance genre several years later, when she was sick at home with pneumonia and her sister brought her a bag of romances to read. Within two years she had a desire to write romances of her own. Five years after that, she had finished over ten manuscripts and finally sold one. Her first published novel was released by Harlequin in January 1996. Her second book launched the Harlequin Temptation Blaze series, and several years later she was also chosen to launch the Temptation Heat series. Foster also writes articles for a variety of publications and has a column in RWR on editor interviews.

In 2007, Lori Foster will branch out with her first Urban Fantasy release using her first and middle initials, L.L. Foster.

Her favorite romantic writer is Linda Howard, also she likes to read Jayne Ann Krentz, Johanna Lindsey, Patricia Ryan, Pamela Burford, Christine Feehan and MaryJanice Davidson.
