Энн Эпплбаум
Энн Аппельбаум (англ. Anne Applebaum, имя также пишется Энн Эпплбаум, 25 июля 1964, Вашингтон) — американско-британская журналистка и писательница.

Биография
В 1982 окончила частную квакерскую школу en:Sidwell Friends School. Училась в Йельском университете, затем по стипендии Маршалла в Лондонской школе экономики и колледже святого Антония в Оксфорде. В 1988 поселилась в Варшаве, работая корреспондентом The Economist. В 1990-х жила в Лондоне и Варшаве, работая в различных английских изданиях. В 1996 вышла её книга-тревелог Between East and West. В 2003 опубликована её книга об истории ГУЛАГа Gulag: A History, за которую она получила Пулитцеровскую премию. Книга была переведена на несколько языков, в 2006 она вышла на русском под названием Гулаг:паутина большого террора.
Семья
Замужем за польским политиком Радославом Сикорским, занимавшим пост министра обороны Польши в 2005-2007 годах. Имеет двоих детей, Александра и Тадеуша.
