Hossein Kazemi (PerB| حسین كاظمی , born October 3, 1979 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian football player who currently plays for Esteghlal F.C. in IPL.

Club career

He was an on-and-off player during the IPL 2004/05 season, but he became a pivotal part in the IPL 2005/06 season and won a fixed spot in stacked midfield. He has scored a few important goals for Esteghlal F.C.. After the IPL 2006/07 season he moved from Esteghlal to another club Sepahan F.C.. He remained at Sepahan for the IPL 2007/08 season before joining Esteghlal for a second time.

He was called up to join the national team in August 2006, and made his debut for Iran in a friendly match against UAE. As of February 2007, he has three caps for "Team Melli". He was again called up to the "Team Melli" in 2008 for the WAFF Championship squad.
