Производитель: "LAP Lambert Academic Publishing"

After Islamic Revolution in Iran, all efforts were made by the legislative to adapt the laws with Sharia and in this process fundamental rights of women were violated in diverse areas. Women`s roles were defined in the framework of a family and their rights and responsibilities were codified based on these stereotypes. One of the women`s rights in the family which was affected was the right to divorce. In this research domestic laws as well international law are examined to explore how the state complies with its obligations to respect gender equality in family law. ISBN:9783846593080
