PGPR is beneficial bacteria that colonize plant roots and enhance plant growth. The use of PGPR is steadily increased to replace chemical fertilizers. In this research work Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain JS 11, a gram negative rod shape bacteria was successfully isolated from the rhizospheric soil, U. P, Aligarh. Furthermore, the PGPR activity like phosphate solubilisation, IAA, HCN and Siderophore production were performed along with more biochemical and molecular characterization, the results of enhanced production of IAA (19. 64 gml-1), (24. 12 gml-1) and phosphate solubilisation (53. 85 gml-1) upon 5days of growth was noticed. A remarkable change in colour from yellow to brown against the control in King s-B medium amended with 4. 4g glycine suggests the positive result for HCN production. The production of siderophore was confirmed by positive absorption spectral analysis, ferric chloride test and CAS assay. Finally, biocontrol potential against the phytopathogenic fungi Fusarium...
