Industrial Trade Dispute and Output Change in Nigeria

Производитель: "LAP Lambert Academic Publishing"

Industrial trade dispute in Nigeria may be quite tenacious because of the simultaneous interaction and differences between the unions and employers under imperfect credibility among most employers. This is particularly relevant for understanding some failed efforts at nailing industrial dispute in the bud before it matured into strike action. This study deals with the issue of examining the impact of industrial trade dispute on real output and the behavioral variables motivating strike in Nigeria. Because employers and policy makers do not have perfect control of trade dispute and hence strike, and an attempt to stop strike may deviate from the policy of controlling industrial trade dispute to serious crisis without necessarily being unmasked immediately. We employed a modified standard Cobb-Douglas production function to analyses our models. ISBN:9783845404073
