Group-II consists of 25 patients, where Esmolol hydrochloride 200 mg IV bolus was used as study drug. Pre medication was by intramuscular injection of glycopyrrolate 0. 2 mg and ejection midazolam 2 mg W. 45 minutes prior to induction of anaesthesia.
