Myopia or nearsightedness was a global public health issue. It is a refractive error, which means that the eye does not refract the light correctly causing the visual images come to a focus in front of the retina of the eyes. It causes myopic individuals have difficulties to see remote object, but can see the near subject obviously. Many factors are associated with higher incidence of myopia. Some of these factors are controllable such diet, habits, and physical activities while some others are uncontrollable such as age, genetic, family history and vision status.
