Pamela Munro

Pamela Munro (b. May 23, 1947) [cite linked authority file|id=n84-120878|accessdate=2008-05-08] is an American linguist who specializes on Native American languages. She teaches at the University of California, Los Angeles. She has published numerous articles and books on American Indian languages, and was instrumental in the creation of dictionaries for San Lucas Quiaviní Zapotec, Chickasaw and Wolof. She also is the editor and of a series of books on college slang, "Slang U."
