Simon Sebag Montefiore
Simon Sebag Montefiore, né en Angleterre en 1965, est un écrivain et un historien spécialisé dans l'histoire de la Russie.
Il a fait ses études au college Gonville and Caius de l'université de Cambridge. Outre deux romans, il a publié dans la presse anglo-saxonne plusieurs articles consacrés à la Russie et, en 2000, son premier ouvrage historique, son Prince des princes : la vie de Potemkine (qui a été nommé pour les prix Samuel Johnson, Duff Cooper et Marsh Biography). Unanimement reconnu, Staline, la cour du tsar rouge a été publié dans 25 langues et a reçu le prix du livre d'histoire de l'année 2004 par le British Book Awards.
