French Workplace Design

In the new Tolbiac Massena quarter, around the French National Library, the architect Marc Rollinet has designed one of the first office developments on the new Avenue de France. The result is a new generation office complex of approximately 25 000 m2, currently housing the offices of the French national railways in four buildings. The buildings are linked by enclosed foot bridges. They surround a central monumental paved area covered by an immense glazed roof. The paving reflects light into the restaurant and cafeteria on the ground floor and into the offices on the upper levels. The interior atmosphere is warm, calm and light. The carefully accentuated interior design assures a continuity of style and materials. American cherry wood panelling on a white background, like giant pictures hung on the wall, breaks up the rhythm and creates different reception and waiting spaces. Формат: 25 см x 33 см.
