An Introduction to Soil Physics

Производитель: "LAP Lambert Academic Publishing"

Having taught the course related to Soil Physics for B. Sc. Ag. students for few years, we felt the need of a book of Soil Physics that is valuable for students taking this course; that presents the subject matter in conformity with the syllabus, covering topics as required while being easy to read and simple to understand. The book is an attempt to provide fundamental knowledge on different soil physical processes and properties related to plant production including soil formation and classification. Soil physical properties play important role in plant uptake of water and nutrients and subsequently affect the plant production. Horizon designation in soils, soil moisture/temperature regimes and soil classification are dealt in advance. I humbly hope that this book will be important to students of agriculture-both undergraduates and postgraduates. ISBN:9783659521942
