These specific listening attack strategies are covered: Using what you already know; scanning for the main idea and main points; making inferences (intelligent guesses); scanning for specific pieces of information; and using context clues and using structure and intonation clues. Program components for both levels: Student Book; Instructor`s Manual (contains tapescript, teaching notes, and answers to student book questions); and Audio Program on audiocassette (5 per level) and CD (2 per level).
