Афины включают в себя Старый город, центральные районы, пригороды, а также порт Пирей. В центре возвышаются два холма: холм Акрополя с Парфеноном идревними храмами и холм Ликабет (Ликавитос) с живописной церквушкой Св. Георгия на вершине.
