Книга: «The Treasures of the Hungarian Museum of Fine Arts»
The National Museum of Fine Arts is Hungary's largest collection of works of art. Its monumental building, constructed in classical style, was opened about half a century ago. It is a young institution compared to the other European museums of art, but owing to its rich and valuable material it occupies an important place on an international scale. In its Gallery of Old Masters, for instance, are a number of well-known works of Maso di Banco, Orcagna, Domenico Ghirlandajo, Filippino Lippi, Raphael, Giorgione, Sebastiano del Piombo, Titian and II Tintoretto, together with several masterpieces by Northern masters such as Dtirer, Altdorfer, Lucas Cranach, Rembrandt and Van Dyck. From the extraordinarily rich Spanish collection canvases by Greco, Velazquez, Ribera, Murillo, Zurbardn and Goya may be seen. Modern French painting is represented by works of Courbet, Manet, Monet, Gauguin and others. Издательство: "Corvina" (1954) Формат: 170x245, 156 стр.
