Brian Weiss (n. en Nueva York, 1944) es un médico y psiquiatra estadounidense.
Vida
Graduado en las universidades de Columbia y Yale, trabajó como profesor en la Universidad de Miami. Fue jefe del área de psiquiatría del Hospital Mount Sinai de Miami Beach. Célebre autor de varios trabajos relacionados con el amor y la creencia en la reencarnación, esta última abordada a través de experiencias psiquiátricas narradas por sus pacientes en estado hipnótico, asistiendo al nacimiento de la terapia regresiva a vidas pasadas. Sus tesis han generado polémica en la comunidad científica[cita requerida] y debió pasar mucho tiempo antes de que el autor se atreviera a darlas a conocer.
