Richard Mann
Richard Mann (* 27. April 1893 in Rodalben; † 15. Oktober 1960 in Pirmasens) war ein deutscher Politiker (NSDAP).
Leben und Wirken
Nach dem Besuch der Volksschule und der Mittelschule wurde Mann zum Handlungsgehilfen in der Schuhindustrie ausgebildet. Von 1915 bis 1918 nahm er am Ersten Weltkrieg teil, in dem er zweimal verwundet wurde. In den Jahren 1923/1924 beteiligte er sich an der Bekämpfung von Separatisten in Pirmasens.
1925 übernahm Mann den Posten eines Ortsgruppenleiters der NSDAP (Mitgliedsnummer 23.216), der er 1922 beigetreten war. 1928 wurde er Bezirksleiter. Anschließend amtierte er von 1929 bis 1935 als Zweiter Bürgermeister von Pirmasens. 1935 wurde er zum Kreisleiter von Pirmasens ernannt.
Nachdem er erfolglos bei der Reichstagswahl am 29. März 1936 kandidiert hatte, trat Mann am 13. Juni 1938 im Nachrückverfahren für den verstorbenen Abgeordneten Heß als Abgeordneter für den Wahlkreis 20 (Rheinpfalz-Saar) in den Reichstag ein, dem er bis zum Ende der NS-Herrschaft im Frühjahr 1945 angehörte.
