Lauren Kate
Lauren Kate es una escritora estadounidense de literatura juvenil de ficción. Entre sus libros están La traición de Natalie Hargrove y Fallen, que alcanzó el tercer puesto en la lista de libros más vendidos de New York Times, para el capítulo infantil (Children's Picture Books) el 8 de enero de 2010. A partir del miércoles 30 de enero de 2011, Fallen había pasado varias semanas en la lista.[1]
Torment, la continuación de Fallen, fue lanzado el 28 de septiembre de 2010. Debutó por el primer puesto en la lista de los más vendidos de New York Times el 17 de octubre.[2] La edición de bolsillo de Fallen debutó en el primero en la lista, también.
El tercer libro de la serie de Fallen, titulado Passion, fue estrenado el 14 de junio de 2011.

Biografía
Kate nació y se crio en Dallas, Texas, y asistió a la universidad de Atlanta, Georgia. Kate ha declarado que su experiencia en el "viejo sur" del área de Atlanta la inspiró para configurar la academia Fallen en la época de la Guerra Civil.[3]
