Kreymborg, Alfred

(1883-1966).t Born in New York City, the poet-journalist also wrote one-act plays and about 40 books. He fostered poetry publications and was called a patron saint of the little magazine movement. His association with theatres include the Prov-incetown Playhouse from its inception and the Manhattan-Bronx Federal Theatre Project.* Among his collections of plays are Plays for Merry Andrews (1920), Rocking Chairs and Other Comedies (1925), and Puppet Plays (1926).
