Wireless Sensors Network for Measurement of Soil Water Potential

Производитель: "LAP Lambert Academic Publishing"

In recent years, the significance of water protection and conservation is still increasing. Information about the state of water in soil is a key component in soil water monitoring, irrigation control systems and its optimization. The purpose of this work is to create a wireless sensor network for the measurement of soil water potential. The work includes the description of measurement methods, selection of appropriate method and its calibration. It also contains hardware and firmware realization of the two types of wireless modules, the end station with sensors and the base station for data reception. The realized application contains a user program which allows data logging, displays actual data or past characteristics and changes the system settings with a possibility to request system for the necessary information.
