One has to look to the way power and resources are distributed between social groups having competing interests. Our research proposed an inquiry into the different dimensions of what exclusion of Deaf youth in Romania from employment and other social resources means and how it is caused:to describe and measure incidences of social exclusion of young people with hearing impairment; to identify pathways and measures promoting inclusion; to find out how to involve excluded people - both individually and through organizations concerned with them - in identifying exclusion and promoting inclusion.
