Rapid declines in fertility rates and mortality rates along with substantial improvements in health care systems have resulted in the growth of elderly populations around the world, and this trend is expected to continue. People s demographic characteristics, socioeconomic conditions, adequate and appropriate nutrition, access to basic social amenities such as food, water and electricity have been found to be highly correlated to health and nutrition status expected to look into the living conditions of the elderly under social aspects of their lives without neglecting the economic problems facing them, also, it is important to consider and address the elderly people`s needs and concerns, which might have direct impacts on their well-being and quality of life.
