The attendant mortality and morbidity was more in some studies when laparoscopy was done using abdominal insufflation. By this work we tried to see the effect of abdominal insufflation on bacterial growth in abdominal insufflation, non insufflation and effect of antibiotics on bacterial growth in experimental model of rats.
