Nowadays industrial waste materials have become a global challenge and remained as center of attraction since they create pollution, unnecessarily occupy space and requires high cost for proper management. But the production of value added products, such as bioethanol and oligosaccharides offers an attractive solution. Here, I describe the isolation, identification, production, and biochemical characterization of a potent xylanase producer- Streptomyces sp. CS428.
