This book primarily focuses the consumptive along with the non-consumptive uses of water for some selected crops of South Asian region concerning to Pakistan. The study included some of the major cereals, also taking into the account the minor crops and cash crops. Water footprints for the individual crops have been well calculated. The study enables us to assess the use of water not in a conventional way of water withdrawal but in terms of the water footprint which characterizes the use of water that does not return to its origin in a known time scale.
