The problem of Ground water recharge in unsaturated porous media in vertical downward direction has been studied with the aim to find moisture content of soil at any depth z for any time t>0. The non-linear Fokker-Planck equation has been derived to represent phenomenon of ground water recharge and reduced to Abel s equation of the second kind by using similarity transformation.
