Mechanization of Some Handling Processes of Vegetable Crops

The aim of this study was to develop out and performance analysis of a mechanized system for handling of some processes for vegetables by improving the vegetable handling quality and appraisal the domestic and international marketing demands. The developed mechanized system consists of three handling processes (trimming, antioxidant and tying). To figure out the performance analysis of the suggested system, the following technical parameters had been taken into considerations, witch noted: feeding-belt speed, feeding rate, cutting disc speed, antioxidant discharge, angle between cutting discs and position of tying.
