It is the descriptive study in relation of livelihood conditions of the local peoples. Household Survey, Focus Group Discussion, Direct Observation, Key Informant Interview are used as research tools in reference data collection. The simple random sampling was used to select the sample for household survey. There was 187 household whereas about 98 household was taken as a sampling. This study is about the livelihood vulnerability and security in mountain region of Srimastha Village Development Committee (VDC) of Humla District. The district falls in the 74th position out of 75th districts of Nepal according to the Human Development Index (HDI). This study aims to find out the livelihood vulnerability and security at the de facto level. ISBN:9783659506024
