This study is a result of structured acoustic analysis of PB word lists to have insight on acoustic properties considered while developing lists in Indian Languages. It a known fact that any Language should give equal importance have equal number of low frequency, mid frequency and high frequency words in the list, in order to eliminate the material bias. However, this study aimed to verify whether each PB word list in a given language has all the frequencies of conventional audiometric frequencies tested.
