Katharine Holabird attended Bennington College in Vermont, USA, and spent three years as a journalist in Italy. She has been writing the Angelina books since 1983. She lived in London with her family for a long time, but is now back in the US, and lives outside New York. Helen Craig is one of the UK's most successful children's illustrators.
